Abused Deaf Women Advocacy Services
ADWAS “empowers deaf and deafblind survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and harassment to transform their lives, while striving to change the beliefs and behaviors that foster and perpetuate violence.” They provide comprehensive services to individuals and families including advocacy, a 24-hour hotline, and an instant messaging service.
Alianza “empower[s] survivors of domestic violence to stay safe and achieve greater independence.” They provide services in English, Spanish, and Russian. They have a hotline and a chat line, and help with logistics such as safe housing, clothing, medical support, therapy, etc.
BARCC (Boston Area Rape Crisis Center)
BARCC provides free, confidential support and services to survivors of sexual violence as well as their family and friends. They offer crisis support, counseling, legal aid, and more, as well as a 24-hour hotline and a web chat from 9am -11pm Eastern. English and Spanish.
Casa Myrna provides “residential programs, housing assistance and advocacy, financial literacy education and job readiness skill building, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy and representation, children’s services, and community based advocacy” in English and Spanish. They also operate SafeLink, a 24/7 toll-free domestic violence hotline. You can also chat with SafeLink via Casa Myrna’s website.
Male Survivor is “committed to preventing, healing, and eliminating all forms of sexual victimization of boys and men through support, treatment, research, education, advocacy, and activism.” They offer online support forums, and online 24-hour chat, and in-person events.
This nonprofit is “dedicated to providing information, support, and resources to survivors of rape and sexual abuse and their friends and family.” They offer an online support group that includes chat rooms and blogs monitored by survivors.
The Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (RAINN)
RAINN is a national leader in providing information and statistics on sexual assault and maintains a directory of local rape crisis centers around the country. They provide a 24/7 free and confidential hotline and chat-line in English and Spanish (www.rainn.org/es for Spanish).
“Saheli’s trained staff is available to provide personalized, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed support to South Asian survivors of domestic violence and their families,” Saheli offers a multilingual helpline (Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu And Arabic), safety planning, counseling, legal advocacy, and support groups.
The Trevor Project supports LGBTQ+ young people ages 13-24. They provide counseling, community, and resources, as well as 24/7 call, text, and chat support
YWCA Central Massachusetts (Worcester, MA)
The YWCA of Central Massachusetts provides services to women and girl survivors of domestic violence such as counseling, advocacy, and support groups, as well as a 24-hour helpline and 24-hour text/chat line.

ATASK provides a 24-hour hotline, advocacy services, education programs, and outreach for Asian and Asian-American domestic violence survivors in over 40 languages. All of their advocates are “bilingual Asians” who deliver “culturally and linguistically appropriate care.”

“The Deaf Hotline is a 24/7 hotline that is ASL accessible for people experiencing abuse. With the Deaf Hotline, you can consult with a culturally-adept and trained advocate in ASL. Whether you’re in need of safety planning, crisis intervention, emotional support, or have some questions, we are here for you."
The Network/La Red is a survivor-led organization that works to end partner abuse in lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, kink, polyamorous, and queer communities. They provide resources, safety planning, and a 24-hour hotline in English and Spanish.
