Speaking to CARE is not the same as making a report to the university.

If you want to make a report to the University, you have options.

Tufts University Office of Equal Opportunity

The Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) responds to discrimination and harassment complaints, allegations of sexual misconduct and requests for accommodation from students, faculty, staff, community members, visitors and patients in order to affirm Tufts’ commitment to equal opportunity, Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, and Accommodations protocols and ensure equal opportunities for all members of the Tufts community. For more detailed descriptions of Tufts' policies, click here.

For more information about what a report entails, click here. It’s important to know that just because you make a report, it doesn’t mean OEO is going to start an investigation. You have choices about what you want to do regarding your report. To submit a sexual misconduct complaint to OEO online you can email oeo@tufts.edu, call 617-627-3298, or submit a complaint online here. OEO is located at 196 Boston Avenue, Suite 4000B on the Medford campus.

Tufts University Police Department

To report a "sensitive crime" (sexual assault, relationship violence, or stalking), you can contact the Tufts University Police Department (TUPD) by calling 617-627-3030 (non-emergency number).
